A New Paradigm

We occasionally hear complaints (mostly from our Leftist friends*) concerning "hate radio". These complaints generally refer to the expression of opinions conflicting with leftist dogmas by conservative talk show hosts who populate the AM band of the broadcast media. The Leftists hope to reinstitute the so called "fairness doctrine" by the Federal Communications Commission in order to silence those with whom they disagree.

Although I have yet to hear a "right wing" host engage in so called "hate speech" per se, the following video comes, in my humble opinion very close to qualifying for the definition. The pertinent verbiage begins 58 seconds into the clip.

* The term "friend" is used parenthetically above due to the leftist author referring to ΛΕΟΝΙΔΑΣ as "pal".

I agree. I have never heard 'hate speech' on any of the Talk Shows I listen to.

But any dissension is viewed as hate speech by the left - and when they talk about 'working together' it means you do what they say.

We are screwed. We get to watch it all fall apart.

We've seen exactly what happens when you elect guys like this in Humboldt County. Exactly the same scenario. The same kind of handlers, the same kinds of reflexive lies.

At least Georgia went the right direction.

The coal states will get what they deserve. The ones who voted for Obama - and they will have harmed their neighbors who didn't.

Too true. I am reminded of a quote that is relevant to this line of thought:

"It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master."

Ayn Rand.

That is their idea of "working together." You must sacrifice your ideals to match theirs, and in the process, become their servant.
