Worth a Thousand Words! Updated

This is one of the images which was posted on the White House blog of the photo op event following the "racial profiling" arrest in Cambridge, Mass. As Thomas Lifson writes, it is incredible that the White House staff would publish it.
Sergeant Crowley, the sole class act in this trio, helps the handicapped Professor Gates down the stairs, while Barack Obama, heedless of the infirmities of his friend and fellow victim of self-defined racial profiling, strides ahead on his own. So who is compassionate? And who is so self-involved and arrogant that he is oblivious?

Enough said.

Update:
The graphic below shows the contrast between the "messiah" currently residing in the White House and the former occupant referred to as "chimpy McHalliburton Bushitler" and how political opponents were treated.

May this be the image that people take away from this sad affair: one decent man, helping a prickly racist, and an oblivious self centered con man ignoring everyone else.

[ Not in the frame: Joe Biden got lost in the garden. ]

As much as I agree the Obamessiah is self-centered, egotistical, and showed signs of racism, we have to remember that photo has no context. In fact, no photo ever has context. It's a brief moment in time.

For all we know the President and the officer both offered to help at the same time and the President wisely stepped back and let the officer help.
